About

I love using data; I love being able to tell stories with them; I love being able to know more about people by asking questions and deliver relevant insights about problems. I have 10 years of experience using data to analyze and find important insights about voters and effectiveness of messages.

I have worked on political campaigns and issue-based non-profits my entire career. However, in these positions, I have gained a cross training in the skill sets needed to be successful for any task. I have supervised dozens of staff, managed budgets, analyzed and prioritized work based on data, coordinated with vendors, and have met tight deadlines. In a campaign, there is no extension beyond Election Day.

I have experience with large databases combining registered voters, consumer data, Census data, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the American Community Survey to do this. I also have experience using many different types of statistical reporting and analysis tools including SQL, SPSS, and Access, and love learning more. Over three years ago, I decided to earn my Master of Arts at Monmouth University in Public Policy specializing in research methodology. I chose Monmouth University specifically because of the work of the Monmouth University Polling Institute. As a Graduate Assistant for two years, I learned how to create opinion polls, conduct research studies, and analyze data for clients.

I have managed staff, led projects, handled large data sets, and generated analysis and reports for relevant stakeholders. I will bring energy and endless curiosity. I know how to meet tough deadlines and I am always eager to learn new skills and to take on new responsibilities.
